FAQs

Yes, you can make payments to a Biller on behalf of family or friends.

Bharat BillPay does not offer special considerations or respite from late payments.

Once a payment is made, you cannot modify or cancel it. You can raise a refund request with your bank.

BBPS transaction status is either successful or failure.

Use your bank app/website, Bharat BillPay platform, or reference number/transaction ID.

1. Log in to your partner bank app/website, Bharat BillPay platform, or physical outlet.

2. Choose "Bill Payment" and select "Bharat BillPay".

3. Enter Biller category, name, and bill reference number.

4. Review bill details, enter payment amount, and choose your preferred payment method.

5. Confirm the transaction.

The physical/electronic receipt will have a unique reference number with a ‘Be-Assured’ logo and it would be possible for the customer to get independent confirmation of bill payment using this reference number on a website/SMS service/IVRS. The reference number will available on the payment confirmation page. Reference number can be used to raise complaints.

There are more than 20 categories of bill payments available on the BBPS platform.

The customer can raise the refund request to the Biller or to the concerned entity from where the payment is initiated with the help of transaction details.
